Greetings, everyone! The holidays are upon us, and the time has come to draw a breath and get ready for the winter. But before we finish out the year, I want to take a moment to thank all of our clients, friends and neighbors. It has been a hectic, but very productive year here at C Clean, We’ve got an awful lot to celebrate, and we’re ready to get things started.
Of course, not everyone has had things so easy this year. Sadly, our neighbors to the north in Butte County suffered through the devastating Camp Fire, the worst conflagration the state has ever seen. Most of those living in Paradise lost everything, and many are still without permanent shelter. It’s hard to even imagine being without a home, without any personal belongings in the midst of the holidays.
But in keeping with the true spirit of the holiday season, there are ways to help. The Vallejo Times Herald has even published a breakdown of the numerous organizations providing relief to fire victims.
And for those inclined to keep their giving closer to home, you might consider the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. The organization has been feeding our region’s neediest since 1987, and they’ve reported a drop in donations as aid is diverted to fire-affected areas. As a result, they need the public’s help now more than ever.
Meanwhile, let’s take this time to spend with those closest to us, and to focus on our blessings, which are many. At C Clean, we’re particularly thankful for our families, and for the support of our community here in the Bay Area–and we’re looking forward to an amazing 2019.
Happy Holidays, everybody. Stay safe, and we’ll see you next year!
